The Program The L&D Field Has Been Missing

PIVOT is a leadership development program that companies have been searching for – a customizable, practical and hands-on learning experience with immediate application. Organizations too often invest in ineffective one-and-done workshops, or standardized, cookie-cutter programs that fail to reflect their organization’s specific needs or make a lasting impact on their culture. Pivot is here to change this.

Our design of Pivot is based on our combined experience of over 50 years of client service, including 4,400 hours of client coaching and team facilitation sessions.  Pivot integrates a variety of tools and techniques that work in the fast-paced environments in which high-performing leaders operate.  Stop investing in programs that have no lasting impact.  Connect with us to learn more about how this program will give your leaders the tools and support they require to pivot and elevate their leadership for lasting and sustainable impact.

PIVOT is a streamlined program that fits into busy and challenging schedules.

One Pivot Point

Each session focuses on just one powerful but key concept so the learning sticks.  Emphasizing just one tool or framework ensures participants can quickly apply their learning as a pivot point in how they lead their teams.

Learn It. Use It.

Time is a precious commodity — especially to leaders — so any between-session work is woven into participants’ daily work life rather than adding to their plates. After learning the key concept, leaders will be asked to use it, notice the impact, and then adjust as needed.

Timely “Nudges”

Personalized reminders, delivered in anticipation of the need and with the participant’s involvement, are used to help participants apply the learning when it matters most to them.

Development Occurs in Three Phases

Pivot’s sessions flow in three phases to develop the most impactful competencies that agile leaders need.  To meet the specific development objectives of your organization, we can further customize the mix of topics within each phase below to create a bespoke yet grounded experience for your leaders.

About the Design of PIVOT

Every aspect of the design for the Pivot leadership development program is intentional.  We’ve made choices based on insights gleaned from deep experience working with participants in cohort programs, coaching clients, and the L&D executives who are responsible for developing their people.  Through our collective careers, we have had an array of responsibilities related to development, including selecting and investing in external vendor programs as in-house L&D professionals, leading teams of facilitators to deliver client services, facilitating and managing programs that were designed by internal and by external partners, and refining the designs of programs to ensure they hit the mark for a given target audience.

We have provided 1-on-1 coaching to over 450 clients and delivered programs to over 100 organizations. From all of these vantage points, we have observed, listened and sought feedback to understand the components that make programs impactful for organizations, and how to design them in a way that engages participants and fosters sustainable growth.
